Fertilizing Applications

Pre-Emergent Application-
Applied in early Spring, before weeds emerge. Provides for green up, but most effective for treating crabgrass.

Broadleaf Application-
Applied in late Spring, after grass has greened. Most effective for treating dandelions, creeping charlie, knotweed, spurge, etc.

Mid-Summer Application-
Applied in July or August depending on rainfall. Mainly feeds the grass, keeping it green and thick preventing weeds from growing.

Winterizer Application-
Applied in October, when temperatures have cooled at night. Provides nutrients for the roots during dormancy and promotes a quick green up in Spring.
